Start With a Delicious Breakfast
Breakfast is served between the convenient hours of 8 and 10. We invite our guests to come down at their leisure and indulge in the enticing selection of prepared breakfast items.
Friendly Atmosphere
You won’t find Victorian Era cutlery or dispositions here at Alicion B&B. So relax! The style here is informal and casual, perfect to unwind and enjoy your Lunenburg getaway.
Farm-Fresh Ingredients
Our food is always fresh, and as a bonus, we get to support our community by purchasing locally sourced ingredients from the Lunenburg Farmer’s Market. Come and enjoy delicious sausages, cured breakfast ham, and free-range eggs, all provided by our local butcher!
Homemade Goodness
We make our own jams using wild NS blueberries. Make sure to try the tea cakes and biscuits, baked fresh by Christopher each morning.
Wake Up To a Delicious Breakfast at One of the Best Places to Eat in Lunenburg.
One could only wish that every BNB would be as cozy and homelike as the Alicion and as welcoming as hosts Joe and Christopher.
I spent just two nights there and wish I could have stayed longer in this 1911 Revival Mansion.
The guest rooms are beautiful, spacious and filled with wonderful art. They have thought of all one could need in an eco-friendly way. I loved the bath salts for my long lingering relaxing time ...like a mini spa.
Then to sink into an oh-so-comfortable bed with books from their library... I choose the ones on the history of Lunenburg and its architecture.
Then to wake up to their delicious breakfast of homemade blueberry walnut bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, and that day a spinach cheese omelet with crispy bacon and their own special blend of coffee.
And it's only a 10-minute walk to town.
Perfect. Thank you Joe and Chris.
